Hello everyone!

My name is Shannon and I am a freelance photographer living in Orange County, California. Babies, food, sports, weddings... you name it, I've probably photographed it!

I have been interested in the art of photography since I was a child. When I was in high school, I decided I wanted to hone my craft. That year my grandfather gifted me his old analog Nikon he had purchased in 1964. He told me that if I wanted to take pictures, I had to learn what I was actually doing... photography wasn't just pressing a button, it was an art form. Ever since that day, I have been hooked. Every day I am learning and every day I am striving to create that "perfect shot".

Aside from my personal work, I have worked for a major corporation as a Preschool Photographer, worked for Humboldt State University as a Sports Photographer, and worked for a small North Coast business as a food photographer. I have won several awards for my nature photography and several awards for my portrait work.

I do my best to capture the raw emotion and true beauty in everything and everyone I photograph. I am a huge fan of natural lighting and believe that a truly good photograph does not need heavy photoshopping.
